About Berean Baptist Academy...
Berean Baptist Academy is a Christian academy filled with leaders, faculty, and staff who are "Called by Christ" to love and teach children and who are "Committed to Proclaiming Christ through Education." It has always been our desire to create GRADS: Students who are growing disciples of Christ, who embrace their responsibility as citizens of Christ’s kingdom, who are academically excellent, who can discern truth, and who willingly serve Christ through service to others.
We are registered with the North Carolina Department of Non-Public Education and meets all state requirements for the issuance of high school diplomas. Beginning this fall, Berean Baptist Academy will be a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, The American Association of Christian Schools, and the North Carolina Christian Schools Association.

Berean Christian School opened in 1975 as a ministry of Berean Baptist Church. The founders believed that Christian education is a life-long process designed to bring students to Christ, train them to serve Christ, and equip them to face the challenges of our society. The school opened with 38 students. In 1982, the school name changed to Berean Baptist Academy. 40-years later, Berean still believes in the Biblical mandate that education should lead redemption in Christ while preparing students for college and careers. Today we have approximately 400 students in enrollment and multiple buildings that form the Academy campus.
