Preschool Music...

Every week, the preschool children are taught music using a curriculum geared toward small children.  They sing familiar songs and learn many new ones that teach them rhythm, pitch-matching, and synchronization.  The music class includes the following: basic music theory, the ability to recognize notes, rests, dynamics, and even piano keys; music appreciation with a basic introduction to expressive and more complex elements of music to encourage them to want to learn more; and performance which prepares children to share their music abilities with others.
