9th Bible
This course is to develop character and maturity in "the inner man." These lessons are written to impart knowledge and to challenge the student to right action. They are more concerned with what one is than what one knows or does. It is very important that each student not only "Know" what they believe but "Why" they believe it and stand for that truth.This course was written by Dr. Frank Hamrick of Positive Action and is based on the book "Spiritual Leadership" by Oswald Sanders.
10th Bible
Students will gain a better understanding of the life of Christ and the early church through their study of the writing of Luke in the New Testament; grow in their ability to discuss and interact with others concerning the person and work of Jesus Christ and the fundamentals of the Christian faith; discover the resources that are available on the Internet and learn about the lives and theology of Fundamental pastors, scholars, and missionaries.
Bible Doctrines(11th)
Bible students can expect to gain a fundamental understanding of the basic Bible doctrines while being prepared for College. Previous students have taken the notes and materials from this class and excelled in Bible Doctrines 101 and 102 in college. Students can expect to write multiple papers throughout the course and formulate their own "Doctrine Statement" at the end of the course.
Old/New Testament Survey(12th)
The Old Testament Survey is a class for Berean seniors who desire to earn college credits while finishing thier senior year in high school. The course is designed to give the students a general interpretation of the major divisions of the Old Testament. The scope of the course will cover the languages and literature of the Old Testament, as well as the historical setting of the Old Testament. The New Testament Survey class is a college level class provided for our Berean Baptist Academy seniors allowing them to earn college credits while completing their senior year in high school.

English 10 explores World Literature, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.

English 11 explores American Literature, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.

English 12 explores English Literature, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.
Gym
9th-10th Boys' P.E/Health
This course will cover a wide range of sports including football, basketball, wrestling, lacrosse, and others. The Health course will cover both physical and spiritual well-being. Topics covered in Health include the benfits of proper diet and excerise, basic musculature and skeletal anatomy, and Biblical principles for daily living.

History
Government/Geography(9th)
This course will cover American Government and World Geography. The American Government course will focus on the formation and operation of our government with special emphasis will be on the Constitution of the United States. World Geography will cover the people, culture, and climates associated with each continent.
World History(10th)
This course will cover World History from the creation of the world to the mid-1990s.
U.S. History(11th)
This course will cover United States History from discovery and exploration through the first term of President Bill Clinton. Special emphasis will be placed upon the War for Independence, the Civil War, and World War II.
Economics/Worldview(12th)
The Christian perspective of Economics:Work and Prosperity will help students see the importance of personal accountability to God. The Bible absolutely teaches that man is individually responsible to God for the use of his talents and resources.

Consumer Math(12th)
The class will be learning about managing money in real-world situations. Students will be graded on tests, quizzes and the completion of homework.
Science
Earth/Environmental Science(9th)
This is a survey course designed to give students a Christian worldview of the major areas of earth and environmental science. Students will see the perfection of God's design in a study of the earth including the atmosphere, the lithosphere, and the hydrosphere. Many hands-on laboratory activities are included in this course.
Biology(10th)
While maintaining a focus on biblical integration, this survey course will cover cellular biology, genetics, biotechnology, taxonomy, origins, microbiology, botany, zoology, and human anatomy. The course will also include laboratory exercises designed to reinforce and complement the material presented in the student text.
Chemistry(11th)
Students will be presented with the foundational ideas behind atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, nomenclature, kinetic theory, solutions, equilibrium, thermodynamics, acidbase chemistry, electrochemistry, organic and biochemistry, and nuclear chemistry. The text stresses the marvels of design in Creation and promotes the development of organized problem solving. The course will also include laboratory exercises designed to reinforce and complement the material presented in the student text.
Physics(12th)
Conceptual Physics is an approach to physics that will stimulate the student's higherlevel cognitive skills. We will focus on the world of forces, movement, mechanics, and energy. Our text features the foundations of electricity, magnetism, and optics and stresses a logical problemsolving approach with many examples and diagrams. Students will put their math skills to use in a derivative approach. Two years of algebra are recommended as a prerequisite. The course will also include laboratory exercises designed to reinforce and complement the material presented in the student text.
